Privacy Policy

In short: your videos, photos, recordings and projects stay on your device. We never upload them. The account is optional and only holds what Google or Apple share when you sign in (your name, email address and profile picture). You can delete it at any time from the app.

1. Who we are

ViperFrame is made by AXS LEARNING SRL, a company registered in Romania (tax ID 52330648), Str. Bisericii Sfânta Maria nr. 27, camera 1, Moara Vlăsiei, Ilfov county, Romania. We are the data controller for the data described here. Contact: office@axslearning.ro.

2. What stays on your device

The videos and photos you add, the voice-overs you record, your projects, title templates and everything you export are stored only in the app's storage on your device and in the gallery when you export. Editing, effects, subject detection (removing the background) and export all run on your device. We do not receive, store or look at your content.

• Photos and videos: the app only gets the files you pick in the system picker and copies them into its own storage, so your project keeps working if you move or delete the originals.
• Microphone: used only when you record a voice-over. The recording is saved on your device.
• Sharing: when you share an export or a project file (.axs), it goes only where you choose to send it.

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on the device, except what you exported to your gallery or shared.

3. The account (optional)

ViperFrame works fully without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google (or Apple, on iPhone), we use Firebase Authentication, a Google service, to keep your account. It holds your name, email address, profile picture, a user ID and the dates you signed up and last signed in. Google may also process your IP address to protect sign-in against abuse.

We use the account to recognise you on any device and, once available, to keep your Premium purchase linked to you. Legal basis: the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Purchases

If you buy ViperFrame Premium in the app, the payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store. We do not see your card details. We only receive the confirmation of the purchase (product, date, status and an order number), which we keep with your account so Premium works on all your devices, and for accounting. If you buy Premium on our website, the payment is processed by Stripe and the invoice is issued with our invoicing provider. We keep invoices for as long as Romanian accounting law requires.

5. Technical data from Google components

The subject detection uses Google ML Kit through Google Play services. It runs on your device and does not send your images. Like other Google components, ML Kit sends Google technical diagnostics: device model and Android version, app name and version, performance figures such as processing time, and a per-installation identifier that is not meant to identify you. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit and not passed to third parties. The ML Kit model is downloaded by Google Play services.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools in ViperFrame, and we do not sell any data.

6. Who processes the data

• Google (Firebase Authentication, Google Play services, Google Play): account, sign-in, purchases.
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store), on iPhone.
• Stripe and our invoicing provider, only for purchases made on our website.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

Account data: until you delete the account. Purchase records: as long as the law requires (in Romania, usually 10 years for accounting documents). Content on your device: until you delete it or uninstall the app.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, a copy of it, correction, deletion or restriction of its processing, and you can object to the processing. Write to office@axslearning.ro. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro) or to the authority in your country.

9. Children

ViperFrame is not directed at children under 13. Signing in requires a Google or Apple account, which have their own minimum ages. In the European Union, a person under 16 may sign in only with the consent of a parent or guardian, where the law of their country requires it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects the data we process, we tell you in the app before it applies.
